Testing out a cool way I thought of to create DOF bij using the median nosie filter instead of the standard lensblur filter. To create a more artistic and original look. Also it was necessary to make the 3d geometry blend nicely with the mattepainting
s with a somewhat impressionistic touch.Here I've modeled and textured some of the props, Gijs did the houses and put the set together as seen here.
